Lab authenticity

Question
We purchased a yellow lab this week-end.
She is the beautiful yellow golden color but her nose is brown and her eyes are green.
Could she be a mix between a yellow and a brown lab. We were not given papers given a guarantee she is a yellow lab.
Do yellow labs have brown noses and green eyes?
We love her no matter what but I was just curious.
Answer
According to the breed standard description taken from the AKC, yellow labs should have a black nose and choc labs have the brown noses.
Eye colour should be brown on yellow labs and brown or hazel on choc labs.
It does sound like a mix of the 2 doesn't it? Either way your lab sounds absolutely gorgeous. We would love to see a picture of her :)
