Its better to have loved and lost rather than not loved at all by: Footloose
Hey Preeti,
Remember the good times you spent with him and nurture those thoughts - and I am sure - you would be happy that you were a good friend and a companion to your dog.
Its the good things that count - and will be with you and him - forever.
Dont lose heart - get another Lab. I know he wont replace Lord - but I am sure he will be a companion and adore you just as much.
Regards,
Footloose Wanderer

my thoughts are with you by: sue
i know you have heard this before but time does heal we lost our black lab Sally in january 2008 she was only 11 years old, we were all devistated and it was months before i could even look at another dog i had a huge felling of guilt for weeks i felt as though i should have done more for her and that i had let her down badly because i was the one who had to make the decision to have her put to sleep because she had just about lost the use of her back legs and i had always said i would never let her suffer. I swore i would never ever have another dog but now we have 2 black lab pups viney whos 10 months and his baby sister evey who is 10 weeks and they are an absolute joy. I still have bad Sally moments like now writing this brings it all back we loved her as one of the family not just a dog.
