Iam moved.The story of Shine is like that of my Enzo.Who was also brought by my daughter,while we were poor and could not afford much luxary.

Enzo was wearing coats stiched out of old jackets and would sleep on again some home made mattress.

But we always spent on her vaxination and vet visits.

She was a golden Dashound and so friendly,so intelligent and such a darling,that it can not be expressed.

She brought luck with her.We prospored.She used to go out in our car.

We got her married with a proper same breed.She gave birth to 5 pups.

My daughter flew from Bombay to see them.We had wonderful time.

Those pups were named Boss,Babinder,Sara,Zara and Exansa.Our vet had called us for a photo shoot for DOORDARSHAN and till date my darling Enzo and her pups come on Door darshan on Saturdays at 6.30 pm on PET CARE Programme.

They were slowly adopted and happily settled.Enzo rocked as ever.

But after having lived with us Enzo developed some tick fever and inspite of all treatment and efforts she left us last year December 18th.

We remember her and pray for her

swat n aunty ,i kno its a terribl loss to loose a member of d family n i must admit dogs are so unconditional in expressin deir lov that we al fear of loosin them ..u kno wat dogs are the best gift given by god to mankind! to make us believ that loves not lost ~ RIP shinu...love to u aunty..nani.. n swathy..:*

that really was a heart warming story. maybe adopt another homeless dog? after all, the light has to shine on.

I slept in the room in which shine happily lived like a king. He used to insert his cute nose in between my hands asking me to rub his belly. If i don't he ll just ask me to, by showing so much expressions.
No wonder, i miss shine a lot ...
Let his soul rest happilyy..

hello, i was reading your experience , your feeling, same here, when our jack left us, around 5 months back, almost every day i remember it, could not forget,the way it lived. It lived like a king,went like a king, as you mentioned some stroke came, we could not do much...no one can match that loss and feeling, still disturbs too much
