HELP!!!! Advice required for love sick Lab.

by David
(Skipton, North Yorkshire, UK)

Hi, My dogs name is Boyd and has been a very obedient and loyal friend for three years. Just recently our home has been surrounded with families with lots of lovely ladies who are in season nearly constantly in a cycle!

As a result my two year old Lab has gone loopy. He has not been doctored as he has a pedigree and it seemed a waste.

We have decided to stud him. He used to roam freely around the house and yard but now is always trying to escape.

He has lost his appetite, (if you own a Lab, you know how serious that is). And he has started whining constantly all the time.

Its driving us mad! Can anything be done to ease his misery?

I believe its too late and not really an option for a vasectomy. Any Ideas for appetite and general well-being?
Many thanks
David and Boyd.

This is what i think
by: Brittany Hi u dnt no me obviously but i have an 8 mnt old female lab but i have other male dogs but they aren’t labs the best thing is to get him fixed but i understand where u are coming from that u dnt want to. You could walk him on a leash of tie him when he goes out side so he doesnt get out. for the appetite try gravy train or mix in some wet canned dog food or feed him meat like ham and turkey. Or you could always move thats my opinions
