Remember! Your Labradors diet should be high on your agenda
Getting the right ingredients is important so let’s look at what exactly minerals, fats, carbohydrates and proteins are all about and why they are great for your Labrador.
Protein - Meat, cottage cheese and fish are all good sources of protein. Also recommended is ground meat and boneless chicken. Your Labrador should have meals with anything between 25 to 30 percent protein. Fats - Fats are a main source of energy for animals. We burn off fat when we do exercise and so do dogs. A stable diet should only contain around 5 percent fat. Younger Labradors do tend to be more energetic than older labs so you can add some extra fat by introducing a teaspoon of wheat-germ oil to meals.
