Is my labrador retriever dominant?

We adopted a labrador retriever a couple weeks ago. He is 8 months old.
He is potty trained and never fails.
He lived with a lot of dogs before. Now he is the only dog in the house.
He does great with walking on a leash. He can sit, down, wait.
We walk with him in the morning and evening for 1 hour each. And we take him to the dog park every weekend.
The only problem is in the late afternoon he starts to look bored and he likes to bother us by biting us. Specially if we watch tv.
How I fix this? Please help.
